These panels are fire-rated from the core, produced during manufacturing by incorporating fire-retardant chemicals and heat-resistant resins throughout the board. This ensures uniform flame resistance and more consistent, long-lasting protection compared to surface-applied treatments.
We also offer a topical fire-retardant spray service, a surface-applied coating that forms a protective barrier to slow ignition and reduce flame spread, helping materials meet interior building code requirements.
Our fire-rated and fire-retardant panels are Class A and comply with standards established by ASTM International, National Fire Protection Association, ULC, Underwriters Laboratories, and Uniform Building Code, with testing conducted by independent, nationally recognized accredited third-party laboratories in the United States.
